Tragic Incident in Taunsa Sharif: Girl Gang-Raped in the Forest:

Inhumanity in the Jungle: A Brutal Deed of Bloodshed:
It was in Raitra, a little town in Taunsa Sharif (Dera Ghazi Khan) a poor girl, who used to sell bangles to earn her livelihood, was kidnapped by four armed men. They took her to the surrounding forest, where they took turns to rape her. The whole nation is in fear of this murderous event.

تونسہ شریف، ضلع ڈیرہ غازی خان کے ایک چھوٹے سے علاقے ریتڑہ میں انسانیت اس وقت شرما گئی جب چار مسلح افراد نے ایک غریب لڑکی کو، جو چوڑیاں بیچ کر گزر بسر کرتی تھی، زبردستی اغوا کر کے جنگل میں اجتماعی زیادتی کا نشانہ بنایا۔ یہ واقعہ پورے پاکستان کو جھنجھوڑ گیا۔

Victim’s Condition and Brother’s Plea:

The victim’s brother said to the media that he found his sister in a state unconscious and took her to the hospital. Her body showed all the signs of torture; she was in a state of shock and deep trauma.

First Alert Police:

The local police and DSP arrived at the scene after they heard about the incidence. A case has been registered and investigation started. There are however no arrests made yet. According to the victim family, the politicians who are involved are influential.

متاثرہ لڑکی کے بھائی نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ وہ بہن کو نیم بے ہوشی کی حالت میں اسپتال لے کر گیا۔ اس کی حالت انتہائی خراب تھی، جسم پر تشدد کے نشانات واضح تھے اور وہ شدید خوفزدہ تھی۔

واقعہ سامنے آتے ہی تونسہ پولیس اور ڈی ایس پی موقع پر پہنچے۔ ایف آئی آر درج کی گئی اور تفتیش شروع کر دی گئی ہے۔ تاہم، ابھی تک کوئی گرفتاری عمل میں نہیں آ سکی۔ متاثرہ خاندان نے الزام عائد کیا ہے کہ ملزمان سیاسی اثرورسوخ رکھتے ہیں۔

لڑکی نے پولیس کو بیان دیا کہ چاروں ملزمان نے اسے پسٹل کے زور پر اغوا کیا، جنگل میں لے گئے، مارا پیٹا اور باری باری زیادتی کی۔ بعد میں وہ اسے نیم مردہ حالت میں چھوڑ کر فرار ہو گئے۔

The girl told the police in her statement that the four criminals kidnapped her under gun then took her to the forest where they beat her and raped her one by one. They left her half dead and left.

Public Outrage and Social Media Uproar:

This horrific event triggered a wave of anger on social media. People demanded swift justice and immediate arrest of the culprits. Hashtags like #JusticeForBakhtawar and #TaunsaSharifRapeCase began trending.

متاثرہ لڑکی نے بیان دیا ہے کہ اگر انصاف نہ ملا تو وہ ڈی ایس پی تونسہ کے دفتر کے باہر خودسوزی کرے گی۔ اس بیان نے حکومتی اداروں اور سوسائٹی کو جھنجھوڑ کر رکھ دیا۔

Threat of Self-Immolation if No Justice:

The victim threatened to commit self-immolation outside the DSP’s office if justice is not served. Her statement has jolted society and questioned the system’s effectiveness.

ایسے درندگی کے واقعات ہمارے معاشرے کے لیے لمحہ فکریہ ہیں۔ حکومت کو چاہیے کہ فوری انصاف فراہم کرے، عدالتیں ازخود نوٹس لیں اور سوسائٹی اپنی ذمہ داری سمجھے۔

The government, judicial, and society should take action.

The incidents of such brutality are an eye-opener to our society. Quick justice should be served by the government, judiciary needs to take suo motu notice and the society must have its role to play in safeguarding those who are helpless.

 

:نتیجہ: انصاف کب ملے گا؟

پاکستان جیسے ملک میں جب ایک معصوم لڑکی کے ساتھ ایسا ظلم ہوتا ہے اور مجرم آزاد گھومتے ہیں تو سوال اٹھتا ہے: کیا ہمارے نظام میں واقعی انصاف ممکن ہے؟ متاثرہ خاندان آج بھی انصاف کا منتظر ہے۔

Conclusion: So When Will Justice Come? :

Where an innocent girl can be subjected to such inhuman treatment in a nation like Pakistan, and the offenders can move on scot free, then the big question is whether justice can be done at all? The family of the victim continues to hope.
