Job Description:

A Permanent Caretaker will be responsible for keeping maintaining cleanliness and operational order of Yorkton Regional High School in order to foster positive, safe learning circumstance to students and faculty. Roles and Responsibilities:

Mopping the floors, sweeping the compound, emptying the trash, and disinfecting horizontal surfaces.
To clean and disinfect the classroom, hallways, and all other school facilities in general.
Small maintenance work to be done as well as responsible for safety measures and guidelines.
Informing individual school administrators and the Caretaker Coordinator of special cleaning assignments.
Ordering, storing, issuing and replenishing of Cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ensuring that all necessary health procedures for safety of students and staff are in line as observed.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of grade 10 education level (or equivalence).
High levels of motivation for work, especially when required to work alone, or in a team.
Prior employment in other facilities such as caretakers, janitors, or the company’s facility management is desirable.
Conformity or discipline in the manner of executing given tasks as well as time manageability.
Adherence to a number of principles of professional sanitarianism essential to the upkeep of a clean and healthy environment of the food preparation area.
Ability to work evenings (3:from 30 pm to midnight and are expected to carry out some forms of physical work.
